Chisel the Horse

Chisel the Horse was created by artist Dwayne Cranford, who utilized over 50 feet of unraveled steel cable to create his mane and tail. The sculpture can be seen as you arrive down L’Auberge Lane to the entrance of the resort.

Fisher Boy

A limited edition bronze sculpture created by artist Lucius Upshaw, Fisher Boy catches everyone’s eye at L’Auberge de Sedona. It can be seen outside of the Lodge building, fishing in the koi pond.

Amitabha Buddha

This is the Amitabha Buddha sculpture in limited edition bronze with heat-applied patinas by artist Sherab Khandro, who is also one of our Artists in Residence. The first in this edition is the jewel in the crown of the Stupa in west Sedona.

Holy Grail and Wheel of Compassion

In the words of artist James Muir, “the ‘Holy Grail’ represents the universal search for what already lies within, if we but only look to see our own reflection in the mirror of the Soul.” It is joined in the Peace Garden by the “Wheel of Compassion,” a limited-edition bronze by Sherab (Shey) Khandro. Inside the center of each Wheel, a sacred scroll is housed. Wrapped around that sacred scroll are over a billion prayers and aspirations for a more compassionate world.

Pastoral Dreamer

A bronze sculpture by David Phelps, “Pastoral Dreamer” appears to emerge from the ground. Serenely contemplative, the piece is imbued with a dry, subtle sense of humor. It can be found dappled by sunlight in the Peace Garden.
