Art by the Glass – Square One

Square One is a painting playshop where we use two-inch squares to stay present and focus on the moment. Each participant is given watercolor paint, brushes and a sheet of paper divided into squares. The idea is to paint or just play in one square at a time and then move on to the next square. It’s not about creating painting it’s about just playing in each square and then doing another. It’s a metaphor for life. Enjoy each moment and then move on to the next. Being a painter or artist is not a prerequisite. All one needs to do is show up and the rest is easy. It acts like an active meditation. Peace is the result.
