In May 2014, L’Auberge de Sedona introduced L’Apothecary Spa, a thoughtfully designed wellness destination inspired by the abundant natural beauty of Sedona. This innovative concept invited guests and Arizona visitors to immerse themselves in the region’s rich botanical heritage, blending custom body care products using healing herbs, flowers, and aromatherapy.

L’Apothecary was envisioned as L’Auberge de Sedona’s interpretation of a traditional apothecary. Historically, apothecaries provided remedies for physical ailments, but in today’s fast-paced, always-connected world, people seek holistic solutions for mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. L’Apothecary became a place of discovery, allowing guests to craft personalized treatments that nurture both body and mind.

Signature Experiences

Beyond the blending station and bespoke body care line, L’Apothecary Spa has seamlessly woven these principles into its treatment offerings. Signature therapies incorporate the same natural ingredients to create holistic, immersive healing experiences.

To further elevate the spa’s unique essence, L’Auberge de Sedona partnered with Lotus Wei to source and extract flower, plant, and Oak Creek essences, creating a powerful signature blend used throughout the spa. These mists, scrubs, and oils feature:

• Rosemary – Enhancing clarity, wisdom, and perception.

In 2024, L’Apothecary Spa underwent an exciting expansion, introducing a serene garden relaxation area and adding three new treatment rooms. A dedicated wet room was also introduced, offering rejuvenating mud wrap therapies to detoxify and nourish the skin.
