L'Auberge de Sedona hosts the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Society's annual induction gala

SEDONA, AZ (November 20, 2007) - Wine enthusiasts and food aficionados alike will gather at L'Auberge de Sedona's award-winning L'Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek to say 'bienvenue' to the new inductees of the local Sedona chapter of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Gastronomic Society. The culinary induction gala and dinner will be executed by the combined talents of L'Auberge Restaurant Manager Maury Kepley and Executive Chef Jonathan Gelman, whose culinary expertise abounds in contemporary American cuisine infused with French influences.

With chapters in more than 75 countries, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs exists as one of the most renowned societies, in which amateur gastronomes and culinary professionals can come together to demonstrate their exceptional culinary skills and creativity, promote their common interests in fine dining, and participate in good fellowship amongst a discerning audience. The Sedona chapter of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs will gather at L'Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek for a two day invitation-only formal event to welcome and induct new members and hold their annual business assembly and luncheon. The L'Auberge Restaurant will close its doors to the public and host the private event and induction ceremony on December 2nd in its three beautiful dining rooms. Sixty of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs' finest amateur chefs and sommeliers will meet to dine upon the best in locally grown and seasonal ingredients that Sedona has to offer. New members will be presented with ribbons signifying their rank in the society. The induction ceremony will be followed by an evening of specially created dishes consisting of an array of various hors d'oeuvres, a four course menu, which includes three wine pairings, and a holiday inspired dessert.

L'Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek will also be receiving the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs for their Annual Business Assembly Luncheon on January 19th. The luncheon reception will begin in the Artist's Cottage and will be followed by a three course menu including an assortment of white wines. L'Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek, a recipient of Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" for 14 consecutive years, has hosted many Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Society events. As Restaurant Manager Maury Kepley remarks, "We are honored to be the establishment where culinary lovers in Sedona come together to discuss the art of food."
